Welcome to PEN OR PENCIL

Throughout all of this we enjoyed the beneficial guidance, companionship, care, love , and affection of an earlier generation of living mentors, role models and fellow travelers. Some were sharecroppers, yeoman, farmers, postal workers, school teachers, layers, Masonic lodge and union leaders, deacons, preachers, old ladies, shopkeepers, and wrinkled old men. But especially it was lots and lots of bright children and teenagers…with eagerly open minds who both believed in us and came to believe in themselves.
